Own Hardware, Full Control
ServaRica isn't a reseller. We own every server, switch, and cable in our infrastructure. When something needs attention, our team is on it directly — no waiting on a third party.
We've been doing this since 2010. That's over 14 years of operating, scaling, and refining our infrastructure — as Rica Web Services Inc., a Canadian company incorporated in Quebec.
No Overselling
When you buy 8 GB of RAM, you get 8 GB of RAM. We use KVM and Xen virtualization with dedicated resource allocation. Your CPU, RAM, and storage are yours — not shared with neighbors who happen to be busy.
This is the fundamental difference between us and providers who pack hundreds of VPS onto overloaded nodes. It costs more to run, but it means your workload performs consistently.
RAIDZ2 Storage
Our storage plans run on RAIDZ2, which means the array can survive two simultaneous disk failures without data loss. Most providers use RAID1 (one disk redundancy) or no redundancy at all on budget storage.
99.99% Network SLA — With Cash Refunds
Our SLA has money behind it. If monthly network uptime drops below:
- 99.0% — 15% credit
- 97.0% — 30% credit
- 95.0% — 50% credit
- Below 95% — 100% credit
The refund is cash back on your invoice, not a coupon toward services you'd have to buy.
Full Redundancy
No single point of failure. Redundant power feeds, redundant routers, redundant switches, redundant storage controllers, and mirrored drives throughout. Our own multi-homed network with multiple upstream providers ensures connectivity even if one carrier has issues.
7-Day Refund Guarantee
Order your first VPS or dedicated server, and if it's not what you expected, tell us within 7 days and we'll refund it in full. We won't ask why.
Windows or Linux on Every VPS
Every VPS supports both Windows and Linux, selected at deployment. No surcharges, no restrictions, no waiting for manual provisioning.
Two Bandwidth Options on Every VPS
Choose at checkout:
- Unlimited transfer — starts at 250 Mbps, grows +1 Mbps/day up to 1 Gbps. Use it 24/7, no monthly cap.
- 10 Gbps port — with a per-plan monthly transfer cap. After the cap, throttled to ~10 Mbps (not cut off).
Both options are rare in the market. Most providers offer one or the other.
